**The Sheraton Melbourne**sales team is seeking a dynamic Groups Reservations Manager to join our team to manage the hotels group bookings.
- Responsible for the managing of group reservations / blocks once confirmed and handed over from the sales team
- Responsible for driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

Follow up on No-Shows and late cancelations and process charges appropriately

Proactively seek to generate incremental revenue via upselling, promoting hotel F&B Venues and other hotel services and amenities.
- Provides service to our customers to grow share of the account on behalf of the company.

Close communication with other hotel departments to ensure the hotel has the necessary information in the group summary

Handing group room block monitoring, rooming lists, reporting pick up, VIP and upgraded accommodations
- Conduct their duties in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained and ensure PCI compliance is always

adhered to.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a Group Reservations role in a 4 or 5 star hotel
- Knowledge of the Opera PMS system
- Full Working rights in Australia is required for this role
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work productively in a busy environment
- Enthusiastic to escalate your career
- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
