**Job Description**:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing friendly, efficient and professional service to all guests
- Taking all group reservations calls, ensuring that all relevant information is obtained
- Constantly monitoring all group reservations through liaison with clients and other Ambassadors
- Accurately actioning all group reservations and releasing group movement sheets to all
Ambassadors
- Completing all reports in a timely manner as required
- Ensuring all deposits are received prior to group check in and all Invoicing is complete in a timely manner
- Being the first point of contact for all Group Reservation clients
- Ensuring open communication between the Hotel’s Revenue, Sales and Reservations teams
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum 12 months’ experience in an administrative and/or supervisory role
- Highly organised and able to effectively prioritise tasks
- Prior Opera knowledge
- Projects a professional image at all times through personal presentation/interpersonal skills.
- Handles tasks carefully and correctly - is thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrates versatility in responding to guest requests and situations.
- Remains calm and effective in high volume work situations.
- A good team player; contributes to and assists co-workers without being asked.
- Committed to undertaking growth and development within the Sofitel brand
