Onsite Timber is on the lookout for a **Sales Representative** with solid experience in the **building and construction industry** to join our dedicated and growing team. We are a leading supplier of timber and building products, servicing carpenters and builders across Sydney and beyond.

**About the Role**:
As a Sales Representative, you’ll be working directly with carpenters and builders—people who know their stuff—so you’ll need to speak their language. This is not a telesales or retail check-out job. We’re looking for someone who understands **construction**, knows **timber**, and thrives on helping tradies get what they need quickly and accurately.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Proven experience in sales within the **building materials or timber industry**:

- Strong knowledge of construction products, particularly **timber**:

- A customer-first mindset and excellent communication skills
- Ability to build long-term relationships with carpenters and builders
- A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Fast learner and great computer skills
- Ability to communicate with all sorts of characters

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Building and maintaining relationships with trade customers
- Providing expert advice and product recommendations
- Managing orders, quoting, and following up with clients
- Working closely with warehouse and delivery staff to ensure smooth operations
- Contributing to a positive and professional team environment

**Bonus Points If You Have**:

- A background in carpentry, building, or timber yard sales
- Knowledge of timber grades, framing, cladding, and other related products
- Experience with trade account management

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Timber Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Trade/Account Sales: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
