Our Federal Government client is seeking an
**IT Windows Server Administrator** to support and work towards delivering an automated, robust and secure environment.

**About the Role**:

- Represent the Cloud Services group as a Subject Matter Expert to provide advice and assistance
- Build and maintain Windows server SOE’s over multiple cloud providers
- Provide advance administration of the Windows server operating stack and 3rd party management tools
- Assess and comment on Architectural and Design documentation
- Network troubleshooting with native and 3rd party Microsoft toolsets
- Active Directory design, implementation and support
- Windows server patching/roles, security, administration and features support
- Assist with the third level support team to provide Windows technology support including:

- Complex incident and problem resolution
- System upgrades, patching and installations
- System security
- Application support

**Ideally you will have**:

- Extensive experience in administering and troubleshooting Windows server platforms in a large and complex environment
- Experience in networking technologies including DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, DHCP and Load Balancing
- Minimal exposure to Agile / SCRUM environments
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to develop and provide training to staff
- Demonstrated experience in:

- Windows automation using;
- PowerShell
- VBS
- Net
