
Planning Officer

**THE ROLE**
The Planning Officers are responsible for supporting Homes Victoria delivery teams, and Community Housing Providers, to achieve planning approvals for social and affordable housing projects, through a strong knowledge of the statutory planning system, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a creative and solutions orientated approach to planning and design issues.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Provide high quality statutory planning advice and support on social and affordable housing development throughout the life cycle of projects.
- Provide clear verbal and written advice to Community Housing Providers on planning approval pathways for social and affordable housing, through assessment of the planning provisions and coordination with DTP and local councils.
