Direct Care Australia (DCA) provides support to people who are living with a disability or with age-related conditions to live independently in their own home and to be active members of their chosen community. We provide a range of in-home, community and accommodation support services across the Adelaide metropolitan and Hills area that range from one hour drop in support to 24/7 coverage depending on people’s individual needs.

**About the role**
Direct Care Australia is seeking a HR professional that has a passion for providing support to people to live well in home and community.
Our business is rapidly growing, and we now have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and results-driven People & Culture Coordinator to support our South Australia and our National expansion.
Reporting to the Operations & Development Manager, you'll gain exposure to all areas of our operations, where you'll have the chance to refine both your commercial acumen and HR skillset. No one day will ever be the same. As a trusted influencer and change agent, you'll be using your expertise to shape our people's experiences and the way in which we achieve results for our clients.
The People & Culture Coordinator will collaborate with team members and the Program Managers to meet to understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders to recruit, develop, provide advice and coaching on all people related matters. Under the guidance of the Operations and Development Manager, you will assist with HR projects to ensure key initiatives are implemented successfully across the business.
The People And Culture Coordinator's key focus will be demand management and effective recruitment in order to match support staff to clients, The role will manage staff training, mentoring, performance and development. The role has both a strategic and operational focus. Your communication skills, problem solving ability and your exceptional organisational skills are critical. You will be responsible for the recruitment of new staff, on boarding and compliance of our temporary pool of Support Workers & Nurses.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Minimum 2 + year in a Human Resources and/or Workforce Engagement role
- Previous experience working in the Health Care Industry; a nursing, aged care and/or disability background would be highly desirable
- Outstanding customer service skills with a "can do" attitude to WOW our clients.
- Tech savvy and comfortable with all forms of technology
- A go-getter attitude
- A great phone manner
- A team player with the ability to build and retain teams
- Advanced computer skills and phone skills
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills are a must
- A genuine desire to grow and improve yourself and the organisation.

**Salary**: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
