The HR officer provides support and coordination to the WHS & Wellbeing team, assisting in the delivery of Work Health and Safety, the Wellbeing Program and Performance; provides secretariat support to the National Health and Safety Committee, coordinates the WHS and CDPP COVID-19 mailboxes, procurement activities and generalised administrative tasks.

The successful applicant/s will demonstrate well-developed communication skills, initiative, be able to work both independently and collaborative with others. They will be customer focussed, highly motivated, driven and adaptable to the CDPP’s environment; and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships across the organisation including legal Practice Groups and Enabling Services Group. The successful applicant will be well organised, be able to juggle competing work priorities and have excellent time management skills.

**Primary duties and responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the work of the team including managing and coordinating administration activities, providing evidence-based advice to staff and senior management and reporting on the CDPP’s wellbeing program and Work Health Safety activities.
- Assist with completion of ergonomic assessments, Wellbeing Program initiatives, and WHS incident investigations including implementation and follow up of any corrective and preventative actions.
- Undertaking reporting, managing contracts, workstation assessment program, procurement activities and ad hoc duties as required.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on potentially sensitive issues.
- Provide secretariat support to the National Health and Safety Committee.
- Management of the WHS and COVID-19 inboxes.
- Undertake other functions to support work of the broader HR Advice, Wellbeing and Inclusion team when required.
