**Your new role**
The Knowledge Manager reports to the Head of Strategic Change Delivery and is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving systems and processes for enhanced Knowledge Management to enable more effective interaction across the business.
The role will oversee and champion the development of a learning, collaborative and outcome-driven performance culture, both within the team and into the broader organisation.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Contribute to the overall leadership and strategy implementation of the department through close cooperation with the Head of Strategic Change Delivery and peers.
- Provide technical leadership, support and management of staff including selection, retention, performance management and development of high performing staff through mentoring and coaching to ensure consistency and quality in delivery of advice and outputs.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of knowledge management and identifying and implementing contemporary ‘best practice' knowledge management strategies and processes.
- Establish and manage the knowledge and records management framework, governance, principles, and tools to effectively manage knowledge through appropriate channels by setting rules and quality checks across the Divisions and enable knowledge building and sharing.
- Oversee and manage knowledge and records platforms and channels, including identifying and initiating enhancements and developments to address business needs, providing advice on solutions, implementing required changes, working with departments to ensure their contributions are in line with knowledge management and digital writing best practices.
- Coordinate and implement knowledge and records management project and initiatives
- Assist with the delivery of divisional goals by contributing to the division's strategic business planning, initiatives, and improvement opportunities to deliver quality knowledge management services.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Significant experience in similar role, with strong track record.
- Demonstrated success in driving and executing roadmaps and initiatives that improve and add value to the user and customer experience.
- Extensive experience developing and managing knowledge management systems, compliance, guidelines, and procedures.
- High level research, innovation, analytical and conceptual skills to identify and initiate improvements to knowledge management content, systems, and procedures.
- Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to liaise with staff at all levels including Executive Management.
- Well-developed planning and work management skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
- High level problem-solving skills to identify and respond to strategic knowledge management issues.
