Cyber Security Operations Manager

**Job Overview**:
Milestone is looking for a passionate, self-motivated Cyber Security Operations Manager who brings a wealth of people management, knowledge and expertise.

How You Will Make an Impact:
Contribute to and conduct technical investigations spanning a broad range of case types
Review case work conducted by analysts
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Mentor and coach analysts across different regions and timezones
Represent the team’s progress, metrics, and issues

What You Will Need to Succeed:
Hands-on experience in a global security operations center leading investigations and end-to-end incident response efforts (3-4 years of experience)
Experience as a lead cyber security analyst. Working knowledge of network technologies, operating systems, log sources and investigative tools including SIEMs, EDRs, sandboxes, OSINT both open source and commercial.
Experience in conducting and leading incident response and investigations related to insiders and external threats.
Experience in establishing, monitoring and refining KPIs for Security Operations
Experience maturing global security operations for large and regulated organizations
Ability to present to a wide range of audiences and clearly articulate and communicate operational efforts through a data driven approach
Proactive in identifying operational and team-wide improvement opportunities
Experience in coaching and mentoring cyber security analysts at various levels of experience.
Good working knowledge of common threats and TTPs.
Ability to articulate cyber risks and provide recommendations
Experience in establishing QA pipelines, drive team efforts to meet SLAs and improve team efficiency through playbook refinement and targeted training.

**Compensation**:
Estimated Pay Range: Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
