The Technology division delivers the Group’s information technology and banking operations functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation. Cyber Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

As the Cyber Security Analyst, you will be part of the Groups Security Operations Center. You will protect, detect, and respond defending critical systems, where your skills directly contribute to safeguarding the organisation and its customers from real-world cyber threats. This role is for someone with a strong engineering or IT background looking to build their experience and knowledge in cyber security specialising in incident response.

This role joins the Cyber Attack Analysis Team (CAAT), a key part of the Cyber Attack and Response Division and the Groups key Security Operations Center (SOC). CAAT plays a critical role in protecting the Group by actively monitoring, triaging, and investigating cyber security events across the entire technology landscape. You'll be at the forefront of defending against threats, working with cutting-edge tools and collaborating with experts to safeguard our digital environment.

- Are capable of triaging and investigating security events effectively.
- Act as the first point of contact for reporting cyber security incidents across the Group.

- Maintain detailed and high-quality case notes and documentation consistently.

**Tech skills**
- Have a strong passion for cyber security and a genuine interest in protecting digital environments.
- Have experience working with servers and endpoints in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrate strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and investigative steps to diverse audiences.
- Possess a solid understanding of networking principles and how they relate to cyber security.
- Have hands-on experience using case management systems to track investigations and incidents.
- Are proficient in or familiar with Splunk or other SIEM tools and can leverage them in threat detection and analysis.
