Exciting opportunity for a compliance officer to join a state government team on an initial temporary basis

**Your new company**
A State Government Department is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team. This role requires you to work full-time hours, on an initial temporary basis.

**Your new role**
As an experienced Compliance Officer your daily duties will include but won’t be limited to:

- Provide high level support on compliance
- Assist in the review, maintenance and preparation of compliance programs and work papers
- Conduct and participate in compliance reviews
- Work with other teams on shared priorities and initiatives to deliver integrated services and support
- Contribute to change management projects
- Maintain a focus on customer service delivery and continuous improvement of services
- Build and maintain collaborative working relationships
- Research, develop and implement financial management training programs and resources for departmental staff

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrate well developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects with mínimal supervision
- Practical knowledge of audit and compliance procedures
- Well developed conceptual and analytical skills
