**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Due to growth, we are currently seeking an
**Audit and Compliance Officer** to join our Perth-based team on a permanent basis. The role reports to our HSE Manager, where you will be supporting the overall delivery of our HSE requirements in line with Warrikal policies and procedures. We are ideally seeking someone who has strong mining experience, however if you are keen to learn, and consider yourself with strong work ethic, we would highly encourage you to apply.
- Support and participate in delivery of management systems audits
- Support internal and third-party auditing and assurance requirements
- Responsible for supporting compliance with third-party auditing schedule, assurance and compliance requirements
- Support the business in preparation for compliance audits, including carrying out internal audits
- Support the development of responses to external audit outcomes
- Audit documentation and continuously improve business practices and framework
- Assist in the management of non-conformance or non-compliance scenarios
- Management of action tracking for auditing outcomes within Warrikal Donesafe
- Interface with department managers for document control purposes
- Support and promote a robust Document Management Control framework with department managers
- Support ongoing reporting of business compliance against internal and third-party requirements

**ABOUT YOU**
- Minimum qualification Cert IV in HSE
- Demonstrated 2-3 years’ experience within the mining sector with exposure to Australian legislative requirements
- Sound knowledge of the ISO31000 Risk Management Standard
- Sound knowledge of the ISO9000 quality management systems set of standards
- Proven experience in third-party auditing and auditing certification
- Demonstrate experience in technical writing
- Demonstrate experience in auditing, compliance and assurance
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
