Mine Site Construction Services Pty Ltd is a leading Western Australian, privately owned civil and mining construction company with over 40 years of combined industry experience; specialising in mining services, civil engineering, earthmoving, infrastructure and quarrying services.
We are proud of our reputation for safely delivering exciting projects across Western Australia. Due to our strong growth and expansion we are seeking an Operations Manager to join us on our exciting journey.
Reporting to the Managing Director - Operations, this newly created position will work closely with our senior leadership team, both locally and on site to provide leadership and direction across local and site based operations.

**The position**

The position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

- Oversight of local and site based projects and operations
- Strong focus on building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Drive a collaborative team culture
- provide solutions to achieve operational objectives and efficiencies
- Drive continuous improvement culture and systems
- Demonstrate leadership in the promotion of safety systems, strategies & initiatives across all local and on-site operations
- Participate in business strategy initiatives and source new growth opportunities
- Assist as required in the preparation of tenders and quotes
- Regular presence on client sites and projects along with in depth knowledge of client operations

**About you**
- Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated success in a similar position
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Strong commercial mind set with previous P&L experience
- Frontline Management training
- Able to manage multiple projects at any one time and prioritise focus
- Self driven and motivated to achieve a high standard of success
- Strong networking and relationship building skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritize and multi task
- Highly developed presentation skills
- Previous tender development and submission experience
- Demonstrated success in driving organisational success and growth
- Effective problem solving skills
- Clean and current W.A "C" Class Drivers License
- Strong computer literacy across the full Microsoft Office Suite
- A ‘can do’ attitude with a strong desire to succeed in the role and a passion for health, safety, environment, and community
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and engagement skills
