Role Overview:

As an Operations Manager at IMS Australia, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations, ensuring project efficiency, and leading teams to deliver high-quality results. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strategic planning, workforce management, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage mobile and fixed plant maintenance projects, ensuring timely execution and cost control.

- Lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance work culture.
- Ensure compliance with Australian safety regulations, industry standards, and IMS Australia policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Work closely with senior management to optimise resource allocation, budgeting, and workforce planning.
- Identify operational risks and implement proactive solutions to improve performance.

About You:

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in mining, maintenance, or industrial services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Experience overseeing mobile and fixed plant maintenance projects is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency and profitability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of Australian workplace safety regulations and compliance requirements.
