Pay Rate: $66.73-$70.06 per hour + super
- Contract: 3 months (with potential extension)
- Location (flexible): Parramatta or Kenny Hill or Burrawang or Goulburn (hybrid)

Our client is a Government statutory corporation that is responsible for supplying the state's bulk water needs, operating the state's river systems and dams, and the bulk water supply system for Greater Sydney.

**About the Role**
- (Training in the Agencies practices and processes will be provided, along with internal support)._

**Key Accountabilities**
- Ensure concurrence conditions are appropriately implemented.
- Provide expert advice on proposals including State significant developments and infrastructure proposed within the declared catchment area to influence decisions made by planning and consent authorities under the _Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979_ to help minimise risk to water quality, water quantity, water supply infrastructure and catchment health.
- Provide specialist water quality input to the development of assessment tools, guidelines, current recommended practices and standards to assist in the efficient assessment of proposals.

**nd Qualifications**
- Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, environmental planning or related discipline.
- Experience in Development Application and Assessment processes.
- Knowledge and experience in water quality impact assessment and management, and the related requirements under Part 4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Current Drivers Licence as some travel required to catchment areas within NSW.
- Desirable experience in the assessment of major projects.
