Proposals Manager responsible for preparing proposals for large scale renewable energy projects

**Your new company**

You will be working for an international renewable energy organisation that has just been awarded one of the largest renewable energy projects in the world. They have recently entered the Australian market and are looking to be one of the key players in Australia's energy transition. This organisation has been experiencing record growth over the last few years and predicts they will double in size once again next year. With offices in both Melbourne and Sydney already, this revolutionary company specialises in providing renewable energy solutions for mega-scale projects.

**Your new role**

The Bid Manager position will support both the Australian and international markets as part of the Business Development team of the business. This role is an integral team member with the responsibility to assess, identify, qualify, and drive new global market opportunities and support the advancement and completion of projects. This position will be engaged with customers and lead the response to all RFPs concerning product and/or projects. You will be responsible for tendering and putting together proposals alongside the internal commercial team.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, economics, energy, and/or a similar field preferred
- 5+ years of offer management for international markets experience with evidence of wins on personally led initiatives
- Energy industry experience, including response to energy storage, international RFPs preferred
- Advanced usage of MS 365 tools, NetSuite, and Salesforce
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable energy storage industry international standards such as but not limited to: UL 9540A, UL 1973, UL 9540, NFPA 1, NFPA 69, NFPA 855, IFC, IEC 62619, IEC 6100-6-2, IEC 62477, UN 3480, UN 38.3, UL 1642
- Electrical construction and project management experience includes scheduling and budgeting
- Understanding of development, construction, and project finance
- Understanding of engineering principles related to distributed energy resources and electrical design preferred
