The **Event Operations Assistant** plays a vital role in supporting both the warehouse and on-site event operations for our events business.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Warehouse & Inventory (Year-Round) Norwest Area**
- Conduct weekly stock control including counting, cleaning, and labelling décor items.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
- Prepare and check event kits, including testing and inspecting stock items prior to packing for event.
- Launder and press linens as required. May need to deliever some linens to local laudrymat.
- Report damaged or missing stock and assist with minor repairs or replacements.
- Inspect items returning from events prior to cleaning and re-stocking.
- Photograph new inventory for cataloguing.
- Support seasonal warehouse projects such as re-labelling, shelving updates and annual stocktake.
- Safely load and unload vans, ensuring accurate packing lists and mínimal risk of damage.
- Ensure items meet all safety and compliance regulations.

**2. Event Crew (Aug-Dec Peak Season) Sydney CBD & Western Sydney Region**
- Assist with the loading, delivery, setup and pack-down of events across Sydney (includes late night parking reimbursements).
- Handle styling materials, linens, centrepieces, props, signage and furniture with care.
- Follow WHS and venue procedures to ensure safe and efficient setups.
- Provide hands-on support to the Event Producer or Crew Leader on-site.
- Represent Pink Caviar Events professionally at all times, maintaining a neat appearance and positive attitude.
- Confidently drive company vans for deliveries, collections and event transport when required (standard car licence sufficient).

**Skills & Attributes**
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 12kg safely.
- Hands-on, can-do attitude with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid full NSW driver’s licence (required).
- Comfortable driving company vans (automatic transmission).
- Flexible availability during peak season, including some early mornings, evenings and weekends.

**Hours & Availability**
- **Standard**: 2 fixed warehouse day per week (weekday). Up to 12 hours per week.
- **Additional**: Event days (Aug-Dec), varying weekly based on bookings.
- Average of **3 days per week** across the year, increasing during event season.
- **Extended leave is not permitted between August and December**, as this is the company’s peak operational period. Short personal leave requests may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
- **Annual Shutdown**: We close annually from Christmas Eve through mid-January. Staff are required to take annual leave or unpaid leave during this period. Exact dates are advised each year in advance.

**Remuneration**
- Award Level 2-3 under the Live Performance, Events and Exhibition Award [MA000080].
- Uniform shirt provided for event crew working on set ups.
- Late night event packdown parkin reimbursement.

You’re a proactive, dependable and detail-oriented individual who enjoys variety, from maintaining a well-organised warehouse to assisting with the delivery and setup of stunning events across Sydney. You take pride in presentation, thrive in a team environment, and are comfortable driving company vans to venues throughout Western Sydney and the CBD.

Must be over the age of 18 (as we work in licenced venues) and hold a valid drivers licence.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.85 - $26.70 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week
