Casual Dental Assistant in Norwest

We are seeking an enthusiastic Casual Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team located in Norwest and Blacktown for 1-2 days per week. If you are passionate about working alongside specialists and providing high-quality patient care in a busy environment, we want to hear from you

Your role will be key to the smooth operation of our practice. From welcoming patients with a warm smile to supporting our clinicians with high-level restorative and implant procedures, you'll be at the heart of our patient care. Your attention to detail and teamwork will help ensure every patient receives exceptional treatment in a welcoming environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist our clinicians and dedicated team in all aspects of patient care
- Prepare surgeries, ensuring all equipment and materials are set up correctly
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sterilisation procedures
- Provide direct assistance during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for patients
- Manage patient records, reports, and relevant documentation
- Assist with patient reception and general practice management tasks
- Ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience

**Selection Criteria**:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (minimum 1 year required)
- Ideally trained in clinical assisting with some reception experience
- Solid understanding of infection control protocols
- Familiarity with Dental4Windows is a plus, but not essential
- Strong organisational skills, capable of handling pressure and multitasking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, reliable and responsible

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)
