About the Role
The Manager will report to the Director, Education Systems Engagement, Customer Engagement, Information and Technologies Branch. There are multiple positions available; one in based in the North Queensland region and one in the Metropolitan North region.

**You will have responsibility for, but not be limited to**:

- Working with school leadership teams to undertake digital maturity assessments and guiding them to use the outcomes to perform strategic IT planning
- Promoting and communicating key messages about ITB's strategies and IT programs, initiatives, products and services to school and region-based customers
- Providing advice and guidance to school and region-based leadership teams about departmental policies and procedures governing the use of IT systems and services
- Advocating for the needs of school and region-based customers in internal and external forums, including contributing the development of requirements and success measures for IT projects delivering new and enhanced products and services
- Acting as a key point of contact for school and region-based staff in relation to emergent IT issues requiring escalation
- Supporting regions and schools to ensure business continuity in emergent situations (e.g., natural disasters)

The ideal applicant
- Be a team player with exceptional skills in expectation management and negotiation
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated experience representing customer needs in a variety of forums, including with senior leaders
- Have strong knowledge of Information and Technology Branch's products and services
- Have strong knowledge of school business operations and have a track record supporting IT enabled school improvement programs
- Have demonstrated experience managing multiple, competing priorities and leading with focus and optimism in an environment of complexity and ambiguity
- Enjoy working with a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact in education.
