The Engagement team (Student Support branch) is focused on supporting children and young people to engage in education, training and employment.

We're looking for a Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering governance, communications and project support across our engagement projects.

You will ideally have experience and expertise in governance and project management, and a collaborative working style.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Responsibilities
The Manager will provide high-level management and oversight of governance, communications and project support in the Engagement team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a small multi-disciplinary team providing communications and governance support.
  • Developing and delivering high-level communications including reports and briefing materials for senior executives.
  • Providing authoratitive and evidence-based advice and direction to senior leadership to inform program outcomes.
  • Design systems, processes and solutions to support program implementation.
  • Ensure that the reputation and interests of the departement are maintained and strong governance practices are applied across program areas.
  • Proactively develop, analyse and monitor plans, perfromance outcomes and risks at program level to inform quality practice and improvement.
