**Your role**:
As the Resource Technician you will have responsibility for the following:
- Assist with the daily operations of the Department's eBook services as required.
- Register users, acquire, and accession resources and ensure that all resources provided by eResource Services is properly recorded and accounted for in line with departmental policies.
- Assist with creating, editing, and maintaining records in the Library management system, in accordance with accepted cataloguing, metadata or data entry procedures.
- Assist with requesting, digitising, loaning, and returning Education history and Corporate memory collection resources from storage as required.
- Promote eResource Services and its resources through presentations such as web conferencing and through personal contact with individuals and groups.
- Update and maintain eResource Services online spaces and browse and search interface tools.
- Collate and update user data and provide statistics as required.
**Mandatory requirements**:
- TO2 appointees must have possession of a diploma qualification relevant to the tasks outlined, from a recognised tertiary institution or qualification which, in the opinion of the Director-General, Department of Education and Training or delegate is acceptable.
This is a TO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the TO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the TO3 once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of TO2 to TO3 classification range.
