**Key Responsibilities**:
- Analyze and evaluate our existing lending processes and identify opportunities for improvement and digitization.
- Educate and train branch teams on lending best practices, credit analysis, and risk assessment. Develop their capabilities to ensure consistent and high-quality lending decisions across the organization.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a robust credit policy that aligns with industry standards and supports market-appropriate risk-based lending decisions. Continuously review and update the credit policy to adapt to changing market conditions and regulations.
- Engage with regulators, internal and external auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Address any inquiries, provide necessary documentation, and participate in audits or examinations as required.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure the credit team's professional development and high performance.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role;
- Demonstrated understanding regarding privacy legislation and associated acts pertaining to the lending suite of products;
- People management experience with the strong ability to provide guidance and support to team members in the interests of meeting business performance targets;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication / presentation skills;
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical mindset;
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
- Full work rights in Australia.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
