The role ensures that a consistent approach to operational risk is adopted across all of IAG’s operations and that insights are used to facilitate decision making. - Promote operational risk practices through the use of data;
- Support the Group Operational Risk & Assurance team with the effective oversight of the first line;
- Identify Group-wide themes, insights, emerging risks, incidents and issues to inform valuable discussions with Risk Advisors to ensure a co-ordinated and effective response;
- Undertake continuous monitoring to identify gaps in the quality of risk data, (including Risk Profiles, Controls and Action tracking), making recommendations to ensure the consistency, validity and integrity of data can be relied upon for aggregation, monitoring, assessment and reporting across the Group.
