**What **you’ll** do**
Reporting to Speciality Care Manager, the Key Account Manager is responsible for promotion of our cardio-vascular products within the Hospital environment to a variety of Medical Specialists including but not limited to Cardiologists, General Medical Physicians, Cardiology Nurse Specialists, Emergency Medicine Physicians, and Hospital Pharmacists.
The responsibilities of a Key Account Manager will be to:
- Promote assigned portfolio to specialty care healthcare professionals and engaging key stake holders across various hospital departments
- Build long-term relationships through your genuine passion for the positive impact our products have on patient’s health
- Build advocacy and support for specialists to deliver education to primary care physicians
- Work as part of a collaborative team to optimise business impact and work cross-functionally in order to achieve sales targets
- Develop and implement effective Key Account Management plans, analysing sales performance and implementing strategies to achieve business outcomes
- Complete administrative requirements and working within a set promotional budget accurately and within a timely manner
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and manage market information relative to assigned sales territory.
**Essential for the role**
- Pharmaceutical hospital sales experience
- Experience in successfully managing key accounts including sound knowledge of protocol
- Relationships with a broad base of external customers in the NSW health network, including prescribers, payers, providers
- Proven track record in influencing the stakeholder decision-making process in an ecosystem with multiple influential partners /decision makers
- Demonstrated ability of building successful relationships within complex cross functional teams
- Business and/or Science related tertiary qualifications are preferred
