**About the role**

Reporting to the National Business Manager, the **National Key Account Manager Independents**_,_**_ _will manage key Independent and Banner Groups, State Buying and all customer engagement. Additionally, you will support the National Business Manager with national account administration and developing insights through analysis.

The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain customer engagement and manage accounts such as Ritchies, Drakes, Cornetts etc at state level and Costco, The Reject Shop nationally.
- Development and implementation of promotional programs
- Drive category and range review process, presenting new lines, optimising core ranging, and trade spend
- Negotiating over and above activity
- Building meaningful sales reporting incorporating forecasting and sales analysis
- Communicate critical customer priorities to field team
**About you**
- Experience in FMCG businesses in Key Account management within the Independent grocery channel
- Strong numerical/analytical capability
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills giving the ability to effectively interact with different functions/levels of employees, broad range of key customer contacts
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to prioritise and drive to achieve the desired outcome - a real get things done mentality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Genuine interest in achieving results and driving future progression
