**An exciting opportunity has opened up for a new Merchandise Allocator to join our friendly Support Office Team.**

You will be joining the planning team, managing retail stock levels in our stores and Online for Marcs and David Lawrence, through allocations, replenishment and store consolidations. The key focus is to ensure that the right stock, is in the right place, at the right time to optimise sales.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Manage all stock allocations to stores to help maximise sales.
- Manage the weekly replen of stock to stores, based on trading performance.
- Analyse sales and stock at store level and action consoles to help with any over/understocked stores.
- Help plan and allocate stock for new store openings
- Updating the weekly trade report and bestsellers report.
- Updating any weekly planning trackers and core line cards.
- Maintaining marketing calendar and updating stores of any promotion activity planned.
- Prepare reports and analysis as requested by the planners.
- Regularly carry out size analysis and make proposals of how we can increase profit through sizing strategy on new orders and repeats
- Be the first point of contact for store teams and regional Managers regarding stock.
- Work with the Ecommerce Team, Logistics Team and Store Teams to ensure that merchandise is effectively managed across all channels.Provide adhoc analysis to the Merchandise Planners and Head of Planning, as needed.
- Prior experience in a similar role with a retail background is advantageous
- Strong excel skills are essential.
- Experience with AP21 or other Merchandising systems is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and numerical reasoning
- Enjoys routine tasks and problem solving
- Experience working in a collaborative role and as part of a dynamic team.
- Interest in fashion retail, and experience working in retail
