**The Company**

Our client is a well established and leading distributor of FMCG products located in Prestons. Operating for 25+ years, they distribute a wide variety of products to customers across multiple retail channels including grocery, pharmacy, P&C as well as the discount/clearance channels.

**The role**

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the team as Account Manager. The role will primarily be responsible for phone-based sales and account management. Some travel may be required with regards to larger/key accounts of the business.

Responsibilities include the following:

- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with a portfolio of accounts
- Actively seek out new sources of business from existing accounts and new accounts
- Meeting sales and margin targets
- Coverage of customers with the required frequency

**Skills and Experience**
- Sales experience as an Account Manager or similar
- Exposure to FMCG beneficial
- Sales experience within the pharmacy and/or discount channels beneficial
- Tenacity and sales driven mindset
- Good numeracy and Excel skills
