- At least 8 years of comprehensive experience in end-to-end payroll management, with a deep understanding of Australian payroll systems.
- Proven expertise in managing monthly payroll processes, including PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and Workers Compensation calculations and obligations.
- Demonstrated success in driving process and system improvements, including technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience with payroll journals, reconciliations, and familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite is advantageous.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- ** Lead Payroll Operations**: Oversee and manage the entire payroll process for a large team, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- ** Team Leadership**: Supervise and mentor a team of payroll specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- ** Compliance & Accuracy**: Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax laws, wage and hour laws, and benefits administration.
- ** Process Improvement**: Develop, implement, and optimize payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- ** Reporting & Analysis**:Generate and review payroll reports, analyze payroll data, and provide insights to senior management.
- ** Issue Resolution**:Address and resolve payroll-related issues, discrepancies, and employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
- ** Audit & Control**: Conduct regular audits of payroll processes and controls to maintain accuracy and compliance.
