We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Event Planner and Coordinator to join our talented team. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about event planning, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn and grow within the industry. As an Assistant Event Planner and Coordinator, you will support the Event Planner in all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring seamless and successful events.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events from conception to completion.
- Communicate with clients with their needs and vision for the event.
- Research and book venues, vendors, and suppliers.
- Manage event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Assist in the management of event budgets.
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and catering.
- Assist with on-site event management, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as maintaining event files, databases, and client correspondence.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the planning process.
**Qualifications**:
- Certificate or more in Event Management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in event planning, coordination or a related role or a passion for events
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in G Suite
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends, public holidays as required.
- Domestic & International Travel is a requirement must have Australian Drivers License and reliable vehicle
- Must have phone & laptop
