The Restaurant Manager plays a significant role in ensuring our guests enjoy the very best dining experience each and every time they dine with us.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Assuming the role of Maitre De to ensure the smooth running of all services
  • Selection, rostering, training & development of your team and meeting the set wage to sales KPI
  • Assisting with planning & organising of events
  • Developing daily seating plans around guest comfort & maximising covers
  • Working with the bar supervisor to develop, prepare & serve hot & cold beverages
  • Monitoring emails & voicemails and acting on these appropriately
  • Cash handling, till float control and balancing takings
  • Working with the owner & Head Chef to actively market and promote the business, particularly through social media
  • Developing sales initiatives in conjunction with the owner & Head Chef
  • Beverage stock control covering ordering, stock receipt & stocktakes
  • Maintaining a clean & healthy environment in all areas of the restaurant & guest amenities
  • Ensuring the best interests of the business are always maintained
  • Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, Food Act & OH & S requirements
