**The Role**
As the Defence Fuel Supply Chain (DFSC) Risk Management Officer in Fuel Services Branch (FSB) you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the DFSC Risk Management System. This role is also responsible for communicating the generated risk knowledge to various stakeholders and governance forums.
- Manage and conduct the identification of risk management requirements and assess and maintain the risk management documentation within the Defence Fuel Management System (DFMS).
- Support the collection and analysis of data required to conduct risk assessment, analysis, prioritisation and meet knowledge management outcomes.
- Validate risk knowledge generation and validate the resultant risk profiles and performance metrics.
- Communicate the generated risk knowledge via established and new communication channels including but not limited to the DFMS, dashboards, reports, briefs and talking points.
- Conduct regular reviews of the suitability of Risk Management System and undertake a Continuous Improvement Cycle to ensure enduring alignment of the risk framework to business and strategic requirements.

**About our Team**
The Business Management Directorate (BMD) is a key enabling Directorate within Fuel Services Branch and has a pivotal role in ensuring effective communications, consistent and collaborative working practices across the Branch.

All roles in BMD involve engagement across the Branch and out to the wider Defence fuel network. This Directorate leads the Defence Fuel Supply Chain (DFSC) enabling functions including governance, resource, contract, performance, quality, information and knowledge management.
