**About the role**:
As a Technical Specialist you will perform draft architecture design and provide technical support to the solution architect and data lead by performing a technical assessment of all user stories captured by the Business Analysts to extract all data and system requirements.

This position will require you to assist with creation of detailed design through translation of business requirements into technical requirements. Support the solution architect and data lead in the analysis of options and development of their designs to a level necessary for IT domain SMEs to complete their tasks e.g. detailed component design, followed by implementation.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Proactive engagement with system owners to perform draft architectural designs of the interfaces required and data attribute identification.
- Support Solution Architecture, and triage technical enquiries
- Conduct root cause analysis for system integration issues across internal/external IT domains and provide recommendations
- Identify enhancement opportunities both for system functionality and business process design
- investigate data quality issues and conduct a root cause analysis to determine where issues in data are occurring and provide recommendations for solution
- liaise with test teams throughout integration, regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure validity of test results meets requirements and conduct technical triage

**About you**:
**Key skills and experience**:

- Relevant Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (such as Business, IT, Engineering, Accounting & Finance) or significant equivalent workplace experience
- Experience in data analysis, data modelling, data quality management or data migration
- Proven experience in analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities to identify, analyse and resolve technology challenges in response to business and ICT requirements
- Sound general IT experience and knowledge of project management methodologies
