Shop for Shops is Australia’s leading retailer of shop fittings, shelving and display solutions with operations across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth & Shanghai.

We are looking for a full-time analyst who will also assist with IT-related functions.

**Position Overview**:
Working at either our Melbourne (Collingwood/Brooklyn) or Sydney (Alexandria) offices with hybrid working options available.

As an Analyst, you will play a pivotal role turning data into knowledge and insights that drive business decisions. Your analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into understandable, actionable information will directly impact our company's growth and success.

Through this role you will establish a deep understanding of many areas of our business including:

- Inventory purchasing & forecasting;
- Product & customer sales analysis (using BI tools);
- Warehouse operations;
- Margin analysis (products/customers/projects/freight)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Reporting**: Prepare daily, weekly & monthly reporting on key metrics.
- **Data Collection and Cleaning**: Gather, clean, and process large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- **Data Visualization**: Create compelling and informative data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and deliver actionable recommendations.
- **Model Development**: Build and maintain predictive models and algorithms that enhance our decision-making processes.
- **Software & Integrations**: Become an expert using NetSuite, Phocas, BigCommerce & IFS Smartfreight including existing integrations.
- **IT Infrastructure & Network**: Understand and assist with the developments of our IT Infrastructure & Network.
- **Continuous Learning**: Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and technologies, contributing to the growth of our data analytics capabilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience as an Analyst in an inventory-based business.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex findings clearly and effectively.
- A curious mindset, passion for learning, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing data landscape.
- ERP / Database experience (NetSuite advantageous)
- IT / Integration experience
