The Australian War Memorial combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive.

**The Australian War Memorial**

The Australian War Memorial is one of Australia's premier cultural institutions. It is a multi-award-winning institution, housing a national collection of over four million items. The Memorial is an integral part of Australian history, and allows visitors to understand Australia's military past. The Memorial is currently undergoing major renovation works. By working at the Memorial, you will experience the transition to the new galleries and provide support to visitors through this period of change.

The Receptionist plays an important administrative role as the first point of contact for the Memorial. The role is committed to supporting visitors and working collaboratively with the Memorial business areas.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Greet staff and visitors, while ensuring security sign in procedures are upheld
- Provide administrative support.
- Filing & record keeping.
