About the opportunity
The Partner Marketing Specialist is a critical role in the Oceania marketing organisation where you will lead the Partner Marketing Program for the Oceania region. The role focuses on rolling out marketing to, through and with the type of Partner Marketing Programs for our three Partner Program types. A program that is highly engaging to our Partners, enables our Partner base, enables our sales teams, and delivers marketing results for both Axis and our Partners.
You will have the opportunity to build an effective and efficient Partner Marketing Strategy that includes Partner recruitment and onboarding campaigns. You will design impactful flagship channel events, develop an actionable plan based on Partner surveys, drive Partner loyalty and lead generation initiatives that engage target audiences. You will improve return on investment of our activities, thereby creating smarter and faster approaches that enable higher impact.
You are a self-starter, highly collaborative, and results-oriented to lead the creation and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns with our key channel Partners in support of growth objectives in the Oceania region.
You are an experienced professional who can work within cross-functional teams to deliver programs and campaigns that drive results.

Key responsibilities
Channel Partner Marketing
- Work with the Axis’ sales teams and Channel Partner Sales and Marketing teams to lead, manage, run and measure the Partner Marketing Program. Work in collaboration with both APAC regional Partner marketing and Head Quarter Partner marketing teams.
- Work together with the Oceania Marketing Manager and sales organisation to ensure there is a balanced mix of to, through and with Partner Marketing Programs.
- Drive the Partner Marketing Program in the areas of Partner recruitment, activation, enablement, and go-to-market strategies, in collaboration with the Sales and Oceania Marketing Manager.
- Work with the Sales and Oceania Marketing Managers to develop, initiatives and implement targeted segment campaigns to deliver leads to strategic Partner groups such as Solution Gold and Multi-Regional Partners.
- Develop and activate marketing menus for Partners, Distributors, Resellers and System Integrators, and put in place best practice workflows to activate co-marketing menus. Diversify our co-marketing programs with Partners beyond just events and explore other marketing tactics.
- Determine, implement, and follow up of quarterly KPI’s set for the Channel Partner Program.
- Work closely with the APAC Marketing and Corporate Marketing teams to implement Channel Marketing strategies and provide suggestions as required by the local market.
Channel Partner Events
- Own the inaugural yearly Partner Summit in Oceania, from inception to execution in alignment with Oceania Marketing Manager.
- Present the Partner Marketing Program offering to Partners at Partner Summit.
- Devise and implement the event strategy for the yearly (online and physical) Partner events.
- Work with the Events Marketing Lead to organise events that increase Partner loyalty and empower the organisation to share strategy and product and solution updates.
- Development and support of local Partner conferences and other Partner activities.
- Handle the budget responsibility allocated for channel marketing activities.
Axis Academy
- Understand the role of Academy in our Partner enablement journey and pinpoint gaps to fix and enhance the Partner experience
- Understand the certification process and how to increase certification with our Partner base
- Design and implement Academy campaign across the region
- Position Academy as a premium certification path for our Partner base.
- Work with field marketing teams to ensure our Learning Management System pages are updated, and our courses are promoted.
Qualifications, skills, behaviours and experience
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
- Minimum five years of experience in a marketing position preferably at an IT vendor or and/or security industries
- At least two years’ experience running a Channel Partner Marketing Program
- Proven experience building strong business relationships both internally and extern
