As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the marketing strategy and operational execution for our Home & Food categories. This role reports into the Marketing Manager of Home & Food and would suit an experienced digital marketer with a strategic mind and an underlying passion for data driven and commercial marketing activity.

In addition, your partnerships extend to the wider Marketing ecosystem with close working relationships into Merchandise and external vendors, working collaboratively to deliver the strongest campaign results in accordance with the key objectives for David Jones Marketing.

Based in Richmond with WFH flexibility, you will support the brand Marketing team with your campaign management and strong communication skills.

What will the role involve?
- Partner in collaboration with the wider beauty Merchandise Partner at David Jones for campaign execution focusing on trade activity, launches and trends
- Lead and execute key marketing campaigns for the category each season
- Execution of category partner marketing programs each season to drive marketing profit including vendor packs and PIR’s
- Develop strong relationships with category partners driving increased profitability for David Jones media business & increased customer outcomes
- Be the category champion in the marketing team ensuring key category objectives are met within our overall marketing program
- Partner with Digital trade, insights, performance marketing team to understand customer behaviour when it comes to category + identify opportunities to drive growth.
- Support overall marketing budget tracking for the category

What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in house or agency as a marketing specialist
- Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or similar preferred
- Significant experience in retail/ digital marketing
- Experience with campaign execution and budget management
- A proven ability to build, manage and maintain and strengthen stakeholder relationships
- Have the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative, fast-paced retail environment
