Are you a whizz in the kitchen? Would you love to spend your working days within a kitchen while you earn and learn?

Maxima has several opportunities available for you to kickstart your career within commercial cookery Due to industry growth, there are now Government incentives of upto $5000 which you may be eligible for across the first 2-years.

These positions could see you working in some of Adelaide’s local and loved pubs or up and coming bars

You will gain hands-on, industry experience surrounded by expert chefs, and receive paid study towards a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.**

**Your Duties Will Include**:

- A la carte menu cooking
- Meal preparation including functions and desserts
- Stock rotation
- Produce quality dishes in a timely manner
- Work as part of a team in a busy kitchen
- Knife handling
- Cleaning tasks including wiping benches and washing floors

**About You**:

- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under time constraints
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Can work independently and within a team environment
- Showcase initiative and take responsibility

**Role Requirements**:

- Ability to work across a 7-day week
- Ability to work multiple shifts including morning and night
- Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar (preferred but not essential)
