**The Role**:
Maxima, and our Host Employer are seeking motivated individuals to undertake a Plastering Apprenticeship.

This exciting hands-on opportunity will gain you paid, practical building and construction experience, a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining**, and continuous mentoring from a dedicated consultant.

Across 4-years you will be working across various commercial and residential sites, assisting to provide the quality service of making, applying, and fixing the internal linings of buildings. Upon completion you will have the knowledge and skills to join any employer and be a plastering expert.

This role will require you to travel between work sites across Metropolitan Adelaide.

**Duties Include**:

- Fix plasterboard wall and ceiling sheets
- Mix plastering components
- Fix wet area sheets
- Finish plasterboard joins manually and flushing
- Construct and install bulkheads and moulding
- Read and interpret plans and specifications

**About You**:

- Loves working hands-on
- Able to follow directions and a willingness to learn
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Possess good physical fitness to perform manual tasks
- Strong track record of being punctual, reliable, and hardworking

**Role Requirements**:

- Must hold a current provisional or c-class licence with reliable vehicle
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
- Completed a Certificate II in Doorways to Construction or similar (desirable)
