**THE OPPORTUNITY reporting to Daniel Beers, Global Bid Manager**
As a Bid & Submissions Coordinator in our Global Innovation team you will support our expanding business development activities by coordinating and managing the response to tenders, competitions, and expressions of interests. The role is a hybrid role with the option to be based in any of our Australian studios - Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
You will ensure that proposals and submissions are completed on time and to high quality standards with a key focus to:
- Develop and coordinate the bid process, including identifying potential opportunities, conducting research and coordinating proposal development.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and sub consultant information such as project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Prepare and submit proposals in accordance with client requirements and firm standards, including writing, editing, and formatting proposal content.
- Manage the proposal review process.
- Coordinate contracts and other legal documents related to bid submissions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all bid-related activities.
- Develop and maintain a library of proposal content.
- Provide administrative support for the global services team as required.
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay informed of trends and best practices in proposal development and landscape architecture.
**ABOUT YOU**
This role is suited to an experienced sales or marketing professional, or an emerging landscape architect/urban designer, with 2+ years of experience in proposal development or a related role, and the following skills:
- Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong written communication skills, including excellent editing and proofreading abilities;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with project managers, technical staff, and external clients/subconsultants;
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team;
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workload effectively.
Nice to have (but not essential):
- Knowledge of landscape architecture and design terminology and practices;
- Experience in the built environment industry, ideally in a landscape architecture or design firm;
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite e.g. Word, Powerpoint;
- Experience in the analysis, preparation and co-ordination of tenders;
- An eye for graphic design and the ability to produce professional documents.
