Excellent Public Sector opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator, fantastic rates

Covering some of the City’s fantastic assets this busy custodian organisation requires additional expertise for their lighting and electrical assets programme. Based in the CBD you will report to the Principal Engineer Electrical and Furniture Assets Projects to act as the client’s representative for assigned projects. These projects will ensure that the design and implementation of public domain lighting assets and associated electrical and lighting infrastructure is consistent with the City’s standards.

Your duties will include:

- Manage the City’s lighting and electrical assets, including condition assessment, scoping of projects, preparing maintenance and renewal programs and ensuring assets are constructed and handed
- Investigate public domain electrical and lighting issues, field inspections and enquiries and prepare technical reports with recommendations on appropriate actions.
- Assist to manage third party requests for access to the City’s electrical and lighting infrastructure
- Assist in the development and management of contracts, exercising good governance, strong project management control and effective decision-making.

Ideally you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or experienced licenced tradesperson with relevant experience in electrical construction, project management, contract management or a related field.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills with a customer service focus.
- Demonstrated relevant knowledge in the electrical construction industry.
- NSW Class C Driver Licence
- Experience in the public authority lighting network such as with Ausgrid or similar network provider (e.g Endeavour Energy, etc)
