**Job Title**: Disability Support Worker

**Position Purpose**:
This role provides compassionate support to patients with physical and intellectual disabilities, assisting with daily living activities, community engagement, and personal empowerment under the guidance of the patient and their family. It requires a commitment to delivering tailored care across a range of needs and behaviours, ensuring patient well-being within defined guidelines.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to patients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
- Understand and deliver appropriate care for patients ranging from low to high needs, including those who demonstrate challenging behaviours.
- Assist patients with activities related to daily living, community support, and personal empowerment.
- Work under general guidance from the individual and their family within clearly defined guidelines.
- Fulfil other duties as required by management or other department personnel.

**Qualifications**:

- Current First Aid certification / CPR
- Drivers License
- NDIS Worker Screening
- Working with Children Card
- NDIS Modules
- Police Check
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- COVID Vaccination

**Experience**:

- 12-18 months experience in similar position

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
