About the Role:

We're looking for compassionate, energetic Support Workers who are flexible and committed to making a real difference. You'll support individuals with Autism, intellectual disabilities and non-verbal communication needs, helping them live full and inclusive lives. This role includes a mix of shifts, including sleepovers and active overnights, and is ideal for someone who's hands-on, community-focused, and ready to engage in meaningful, everyday moments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver person-centred support to individuals with Autism, intellectual disabilities, and non-verbal communication needs
  • Assist with daily living, personal care, and support community participation
  • Encourage engagement in social and recreational activities that build independence
  • Create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for each individual
  • Follow individual routines and behaviour support plans with consistency
  • Communicate effectively with the Accommodation Coordinator and clinical team
  • Maintain accurate records, including progress notes and incident reports
  • Attend training and team meetings to ensure quality care and NDIS compliance

What we are looking for

  • Experience working with high-intensity and complex behaviour clients
  • A minimum of 2-years as a disability support worker
  • You have or can obtain the following:
  • Blue Card, WWCC and NDIS Screening/Yellow Card
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Drivers licence
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • Ideal but not mandatory: Cert IV in mental health or equivalent
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
