NPDS is recruiting for experienced Disability Support Workers. Mental Health experience is required.

At this time we are particularly seeking: Support workers who are available for a variety of shifts in both SIL
accommodation and community support across the Ipswich Region. You will
have the flexibility to work various shifts including long and short shifts. Standard shift will likely be 4 - 6 hrs plus.

Essential Criteria

Certificate III in Disability/Mental Health or emplyed experience in a related field

Experience in disability and mental health environments

Experience working with high needs, complex care clients Experience supporting clients with mental health, complex behaviours & BIS

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Valid driver’s licence, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle National Police Clearance (PAID within last 6 months)

First Aid/CPR Certificate

Working with Children Check

Day shifts initially with evening and overnight shifts to be available within 4 weeks.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
