This is a fantastic opportunity for a Accounts Administrator to join a global organisation in the insurance industry. The Accounts Administrator supports the Finance Team with business accounting activities. This includes accounts receivable/payable, allocating payments, assisting brokers with account queries, processing client refunds, and assisting the wider finance team when necessary.

**The day to day**:

- Managing daily cash flow of Clients, third party brokers and Insurer receipting
- Maintaining the bank reconciliation
- Processing of payments to Insurers, sub agents and refunds to Clients
- Attending to queries from key stakeholders being Insurers, Insurance Brokers, Auditors and Funders
- Reconciling the monthly statements from Insurers
- Liaising with Brokers on unallocated cash and credit reports
- Stamp duty monthly returns,
- Sub ledger and general journals
- Performing end of month and end of year functions including identifying any out of balances between trust balance and sub ledgers and ensure they are properly actioned.
- Following procedures set out for the AMS Revenue team.
- Responsible for assisting with the Audit Review in terms of; liaising with and assisting Auditors in all areas of trust accounting.
- Responsible for providing back-up and support to any function within the team, and assisting to redistribute work priorities during times of staff leave.
- 1 + years demonstrated experience in a similar role (desirable).
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or progress toward (desirable).
- Corporate experience
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office, particularly Excel skills (intermediate to advanced).
- Previous experience in the Insurance industry considered advantageous
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
