Our client is a trusted provider of freight forwarding and logistics solutions, delivering reliable, efficient and customer focused services across Australia and internationally.

The position

A rare opportunity has become available for an Accounts & Administration Assistant to join the team. The overall responsibility of this position is to ensure smooth running of the finance and administration functions including accounts payable and receivable; and providing administrative and operational support across the business.

Key tasks include:

  • Processing and reconciling of accounts payable and receivable;
  • Managing banking reconciliations;
  • Monitoring and maintaining supplier accounts;
  • Following up outstanding accounts and end-of-month reporting;
  • Assisting with financial compliance, audits and record keeping;
  • Providing general office administration support including handling phone calls and emails;
  • Coordinating ordering for supplies;
  • Managing company vehicle registrations.

Candidate requirements

To be considered, you will have the following:

  • Previous experience in accounting similar role involving accounts and administration;
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Excel;
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
