As a manager you will design and implement teaching and learning resources to deliver content in an effective and engaging way. You will collaborate with, provide advice, guidance, and support to clients and Nous colleagues to integrate innovative practices and engagement techniques in the development of new learning material.

**We are looking for Learning Designers**

We are recruiting learning designers who are passionate about designing learning solutions and strategies. We want designers to collaborate with our consulting and client teams to provide advice, guidance, and support in integrating innovative practices and engagement techniques in developing new and transforming existing digital and non-digital resources.

You will participate in end-to-end stakeholder communication and engagement; development and implementation; and provide quality assurance; and in some instances, testing and refining with users to design learning solutions

To succeed in this role, you will be a self-motivated, self-managed, and resourceful individual with a solid understanding of adult learning, instructional design principles, and stakeholder engagement. Flexible working arrangements and part time will also be considered.

- **A tiny bit obsessive**; about the details, that is. With a strong design background, you will have an eye for the visual design and pay close attention to the details surrounding an interaction so they things we make are both simple and elegant

**And the practical experience**:

- Prior experience in a learning or instructional design role
- A deep understanding of the principles and practice of effective teaching and learning
- Expertise in the end-to-end design and implementation of learning resources
- Experience with one or more relevant online teaching and learning systems
- Exposure to e-Learning authoring tools and resources
- Ability to contribute to learning design research for Nous project briefs
- Strong problem-solving ability applied in a structured way
- Outstanding communication skills, including the capability of building strong stakeholder relationships
- The capability to think, articulate and write logically

**Preferable** experience**:

- An eye for visual design so you can present complex ideas in simple and elegant ways.
- A practical understanding of Agile and project management skills so design work can be achieved within the frame of the project (time, quality, and costs)
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to interpret data
- An appropriate tertiary qualification
