**THE ROLE**
Due to expansion, this company are seeking a proactive, sales-minded professional to join their team as a Business Development Executive. You will conduct outbound calls to generate and qualify business opportunities, identify leads through research, manage a sales pipeline in the company CRM, generate campaigns ideas alongside the marketing team and respond to ad hoc inbound enquiries. This role will suit a passionate, self motivated people-person who has excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong sales acumen.
**DUTIES**
- Undertake outbound calls to generate and qualify leads and business opportunities
- Respond to inbound enquiries via phone
- Conduct market research, update the company CRM and report weekly on sales pipeline activity
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholders relationships both internally and with external providers
- Book appointments, meetings and training sessions with prospect businesses
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience in lead generation in a business development or sales role or similar
- Experience with B2B product sales preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
- Strong sales acumen, with ability to think critically, strategically and creatively to meet challenges and pursue opportunities
- A team-player, who will take a hands-on approach and work collaboratively and enthusiastically within a team
- The role requires someone highly motivated who is excellent at building relationships
