About the team
Coexistence Queensland is a small, multi-disciplinary team with a focus on policy, advice, engagement and communications services to enhance sustainable coexistence outcomes.
Coexistence Queensland is a Board driven independent statutory body. The Board comprises of a part-time Chairperson, and up to five part-time Board members. The Board is supported by an office comprising the Chief Executive Officer, appointed under the Act, and other staff appointed under the Public Service Act 2008.
Coexistence Queensland is currently in a growth phase having recently expanded its remit to focus on coexistence issues in communities facing resources and renewable energy development.

What you will do
The core responsibilities for the Corporate Support Officer are:
Coordinate and manage the corporate inboxes and calendars to arrange approvals from delegates and ensure timely processing of bookings, tasks and payments.
Arrange event and travel bookings as directed, including (and not limited to); flights, accommodation, venue hire, catering, equipment hire, and logístical requirements.
Provide finance processing support such as; data entry of invoices, credit card reconciliation and vendor account maintenance
Maintain various Corporate and Financial Registers with accuracy and confidentiality, including; Gifts and Benefits Register, Training Register, Asset Register, Credit Register.
Provide secretariat support for internal staff meetings by providing agenda preparation, minuting functions and then carry out designated actions and follow up the outcomes being sought.
Draft and prepare expense claims for Board and Audit and Risk Management Committee Members.
Assist in the management of Workplace Health and Safety initiatives and compliance objectives.
Support the day-to-day activities of the organisation including management of office supplies, tenancy management liaison and general administration tasks.
