With a strong history of success and capability across the Property & Buildings industry, we have an exciting opportunity for a key leader to join our Northern NSW business as the **Market Leader, Property & Buildings.**

In this high-profile role, you will lead and be the external market face of GHD’s Property & Building business in the region. Reporting to the Regional Market Leader, your remit will be to grow the P&B business in the Northern NSW region in a way that supports and connects to GHD’s global and APAC strategy, while maximising local geographic strengths.

As you drive our growth and our key client relationships forward across the P&B sector, you will collaborate with Market Leaders across sectors/regions and harness an internal network of specialist professionals and targeted external strategic partners across Australia to ensure GHD remains a market and technical leader in the sector.

**Responsibilities**will include:

- Driving business development by cultivating strong relationships with existing and new clients and delivery partners in the Property and Building sector.
- Acting as an external spokesperson and brand champion, helping to further secure our reputation in the marketplace.
- Developing and executing strategic goals and strategy that align with Regional, state Hub and National objectives.
- Major project opportunity identification and conversion of key pursuits.
- Collaborative efforts with the P&B teams/Market Leaders across NSW/ACT and building strong bonds with respective Market Leaders
- Undertaking select Project Director roles on key pursuits and projects where aligned to the strategic business plan
- Mentoring and guiding individuals for the future success of GHD

**Experience and skills required**
- Education requirement - degree in a recognised technical or related field with relevant experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in market development related activities with strong industry connections to the P&B market
- Demonstrable client relationship skill set, strong consulting skills, bid writing and pursuit experience and team leadership
- Excellent knowledge and demonstrated experience in winning work and delivering projects in the Australian P&B market, ideally with relevant experience in Northern NSW.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; proven ability to develop, mentor and lead professional technical staff
- High level presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong strategic and systems thinking ability
