**The Role**:
As a Data Program Delivery Manager you will be responsible for data delivery, data initiatives and be accountable for leading and managing the data practice for specific Medibank projects/initiatives. This role will have 4+ direct reports as well as be accountable for managing multiple data projects with varying budgets.

This opportunity is a delivery ownership role whereby your leadership and communication skills will play a pivotal role in removing potential roadblocks and steering projects in the right direction.

**Some of your duties include**:

- Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliverables.
- Work with the business to determine business values and ensure the solution meets business expectations.
- Ensure project solution architecture is realised in the detailed design and is delivered.
- Perform regular resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements.
- Work as a trusted advisor providing thought leadership to key stakeholders across IT & Business Units.
- Act as the primary contact for key stakeholders in relation to Data initiatives
- Ensure technical solutions are developed using the principles of industry best practices, architecture and design standards and align with CDR&A strategy and business resource realities.
- Ensure all people leadership tasks are complete providing coaching, mentoring, and promoting a culture of growth and accountability.

**About you**:

- Proven and demonstrated ability in a similar delivery manager and people leadership position.
- Experience in managing multiple projects/initiatives at a high level.
- Ideally fundamental understanding of Data & Data warehousing (though not essential).
- A strong team player, acting as a leader with a “we” approach.
- Exemplary communication skills with the ability to influence and guide others in both written and verbal format.
- Technically minded with a solid understanding of tech delivery and IT principles.
